A letter about COVID-19 from Yolke
As a company we wanted to say our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by Covid-19. We also want to express our deep gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, cleaners, teachers, delivery drivers, farmers, shop workers, ambulance drivers the list is endless, who are working on the front-line of this crisis.
We wanted to let you know how we are responding to the ongoing situation from our studio team & warehouse to our supply chain around the world. Our employee health & safety is always at the forefront of our decision making. All of the studio team are currently working from home as are some of our warehouse staff with just a small team of 2 operating safely to get orders out to you. Naturally during busy periods orders will be despatched with a slight delay but we are mostly getting orders out within 2-3 days.
We proudly produce around the world from Lithuania & Bulgaria to China and the UK with suppliers whose businesses and lives are being hugely affected in these times. We will continue to stand by them throughout this and honour all orders we have placed, we will continue to place orders as planned and in addition use up any past season stock fabric they hold. We are embracing a flexible approach to current deliveries putting items up for preorder to allow our suppliers to have more time to work at a pace that prioritises the health and safety of the employees.
We have delayed our June delivery to help our stockists who have been closed for 3 months and will now deliver this in September. This has allowed us to free up our cashflow in order to support smaller production runs with our suppliers and mills as they open. Hence why you will see more day wear styles launching this summer in more frequent limited edition drops.
